why has everything stalled
it's like the world is frozen
life moves on without care
although it seems to go nowhere

i keep waiting on your words
but you have kept silent
perhaps they hang suspended
in the spaces between me and you.

UPDATE:

This is a macro shot.
The red droplet is a homemade mixture.
Sugar, water, and balsamic vinegar (for colour).

Water droplets were dripped from an eye dropper.
Set the proper focal lenght, shutter speed through trials.
Took about 40 shots to capture the droplet in the right place.

Perhaps not the most original I've done.
Most likely the most technical I've taken.

Post work in Photoshop.
