Get a Grip

A few days ago I mentioned that my family's pet squirrel 'Colonel Clink' died, we found out the next day that the Colonel was a female, and a mother at that. Four babies slowly emerged from their nest in search for food, and damn they are cute.

This is one of many photos I took of them. This little guy was the bravest of them. I sat and played with the for quite awhile. We released them deeper into the woods yesterday, they were all eating and were searching for food, so I think they'll be ok.
